Anyone have any idea when the lake is going to freeze up? My dad was up there Sunday and said there was no ice anywhere. Not even on the edges. I'm thinking the lake will freeze up around jan 6-10.

Water temps are still pretty high, around 40-44. I've noticed there is some warmer weather approaching us with some rain(Wednesday high of 56 with rain, that should bump the water temperatures back up, probably somewhere around 50.
I think the lake will freeze up late January, we haven't had many days where the high has been in the 30's.
If we start getting snow soon, maybe mid January.

Coming to work this morning at around 930 AM, and crossing over the bridge on Lil Conestoga, the lake was skimed over with ice, above the bridge, and also on the main lake side. It has been skimmed over several days in a row, but melts off during the day.

Weather looks better in the next couple weeks, hopefully by mid January we'll be on ice around here. If not looks like a couple hours drive north will be in order.
