Fished the Manatawny Creek near Pottstown PA this weekend. I caught several nice trout, a large carp, and a 21" smallmouth bass. I was using small jigs and very light tackle. All were released.
The creek is not very large and I usually catch blue gills and rock bass. This weekend was a good reminder not to overlook the local creeks. The fishing is simple, fun, and you may just land a big one.
