Tuesday, March 29th. The Lake is a mess! The rain has turned the water very muddy.Access is limited from shore due to the rising water.Looks like a couple of days of dry weather is needed to return the lake back to normal.

I was out today and I only landed one bass. I only saw one other person land one but it was a biggin' at 6.2 lbs.! He told me it was the only strike he got all day.

Monday April 4th. The Lake is very high& the water very muddy! Looks like it will take a few days of sun & warm temps before the lake even begins to recover. Most of the spots on the shoreline are under water.

Water temp is 52 degrees, water is still murky. Can't really see the bottom even from the shore. Wind is also causing huge waves. Lots of flooding all over the place.
Fished 4 areas this morning got absolutely nothing. The boat launch area was PACKED, and I mean PACKED with trailers. There were about 10+ trucks with trailers on the overflow grass/parking lot as well. I've fished Marsh pretty much all of last year and have not seen that many boaters there at one time even during peak summer months.
I ended my trip at the bridge where we also got nothing (water too cloudy). I did see one guy with about 5 ot 6 panfish.

I was at the bridge from 6 am to 8 am and found the bite to be pretty good. My bother and I caught about fifeteen crappies all around 9 to ten inches and a bunch of medium size blue gills. Other fishermen in the area were also doing pretty good also, one guy nailed a huge crappie about 13 inches but real fat. Tight lines.

Bob, the reason for the crowd is that Marsh Creek Bass Club held they're open bass tournament today (04/09/05) and 33 teams entered. It was quite a weigh in, 2 over 6lbs and the winning team had 5 bass that weighed just over 24lbs, the results will be posted on the Tournament page some time in the next few days.
