Lake is completely covered with ice. However it is only 2 inches or so over most of it. Towards the headwaters there is thicker ice 3.5-4 but it is like a maze, there are pockets, fingers and islands of the thin ice. I was on it fishing but then again I probably shouldn't have. Another few cold nights should sure things up.

Was out this morning, same as yesterday + 1/2" -1" Main deep area is covered by the thin Ice, however it is getting thick quick. Now, if only they would stock it in the winter.

Sorry so late, I have been away from my computer for the last few days. I have fished Scott's Run several times since my last post. I wish I had more to write about but it has been typical Scott's Run...A lot of hours and a few fish to show, however, you have to earn them. What's great about the lake is you never know what's coming out of the hole. It usually is a trout, it may also be a Bass, pickerel, gill or perch. Every once in a while you pull up one of those large shiner looking things...what are they? My dad always called them Mill Roach (spelling).
Anyway, If you're thinking about fishing try it out. And yes, the ice is plenty thick. The REALLY clear Ice looks like it's about 2". It's actually about 4.5 (no bubbles to gauge thickness) .
Good Luck
