I am heading down to Elk Neck this weekend with my neighbors for a little camping trip. I have never been there and was wondering how the fishing is?

Great fishing for channel cats, white bass and largemouth. Channels and whities really like night crawlers and are really easy to catch. the LM are a little more difficult to find, but can get fairly large.

If you are bringing a boat, better check with the park office before making your trip. I think the launch is closed for construction.
