Erica, large pike shinners and big lures are your best bet as soon as you target these fish they become impossible to find. I fish marsh in the fall and winter and get more bass on muskie lures so mabey I will see you out there Tom

I don't fish for Muskies but have caught many at Marsh Creek while bass fishing and pan fishin. They seem to hit just about anything. Have seen many in the shallows in early spring. And have noticed them very very close to the same spots every year. I doudt if they are the same fish. Always seem to be hangin in about 4 feet of water. I think the trick is not to spook them If you know where they are run something by them or drift a minnow to them.

Hey, if you are really interested in how to find, catch, and safely release, (safe for you and the fish), Muskies, you should check out this club and it's site; www.mi50.com. It is chapter 50 of a national organization called "Muskies Inc." You have a GOOD lake there and we are going to see if we can help make it better for all the area sportsfisherman. So check out the site, catch some lunge, take their picture and let swim away to get bigger. What a fish! What a sport! BigfishFJ

Muskies are far and few in between they are not a fast renewable resource like put and take trout it takes about 4-5 years to reach 30" up to 8 years+ to reach 40" and a 40" fish is not trophy size by any means. there are some nice size fish in marsh but they are not going to last without the smaller fish being released . Bigfish is on target the lake could have a better muskie fishery if we all practice catch and release. A picture and a replica mount goes a long way in renewing this resource. Musky M
