fished kaercher creek lake this morning. mostly trolled and threw baits for muskies with no such luck. caught a decent sized chain pickerel by the dam area. water temp was 51-53 depending on depth. will try again when the water hits 60. also saw a really nice bass cruising the flats by the ramp. had to be 22 plus inches.

Just read on another site someome catching a musky and some bass today at the lake and showed the pictures . I just got back from the PFBC doing a little research on this lake and hopes to start mapping the lake this May. ( lake structure map) as well as field research. Should be available this fall. I'm listed on the PFBC web site under maps.

Small lake and well rounded for a variety of species. The warmer the season the more weed choked and I would say spring and early summer looked good according to my survey.
