The fishermans parking lot which has been closed for several years at Springton resevior is showing activity. Drove past it the other day and earth moving equipment was clearing all of the overgrowth which has taken over since it's closing.What does this mean? Who knows ?

Hi Oldfisherman, I was told a few years ago that a Contractor bought the Parking lot and planed to build houses on it. It would be to crazy to think they would let us a go fishing there again! Can I tell you True Fish Stories about Springton Lake, Best Largemouth Resevior in the State!!! Contro

I live in Del Co., and doubt you will ever be able to fish Springton (legally) again. Since Aqua acquired, it I'm pretty sure the liability issues alone would prevent them from opening it up.
