Fished from about 9:30 a.m. till about 2:00 p.m. in my kayak. Very tough bluebird day. No clouds and not a whisper of wind. Water clarity was about 5-6 feet and varied depending on the location. Don't know water temp but it was 66 on Wednesday and was probably close to that. I fished the Park Cove and managed two LM bass about 14 inches each. Both caught near the cove entry point. Caught one on a black slider with a chartreuse tail and the other on a lipless crank bait. Had no success with senkos, perch colored crankbait (deep diver) or other colored sliders.

Had a fellow come in the store and bought a dozen large shiners today about 6:00 pm. About a half hour later he came in the door holding his bucket, I thought oh oh, his shiners must have died on him. Much to my surprise , he was estatic. I caught 9 bass, with 3 legal size fish. he told me. Gimme another dozen, I'm gone back. He said he caught (and released) these fish on the Eagle side by the boat launch. Not a bad evenings fishing.
