Neighbor and I trolled for Stripers at Blue Marsh on Monday. We trolled up a six pound female striper and a much larger one broke off. We were using 4 downriggers and most fish were suspended at 12-18ft. Marked several schools but, all but two had lockjaw.

We also trolled up a 8 lb. channel catfish that took a black/silver #11 jointed Rapala at 14ft. Not uncommon for channel catfish to take artificials.
Congratualtions on the 40 Lb. catfish---largest one I have kown to come from Blue Marsh.
