Hi all Been lurking here awhile, Fished Struble Sunday night in the Kayak, rigged for crappie, and no luck, fished a perch color Shad Rap and caught a 4lb 12oz Largemouth, biggest bass I ever caught, towed my kayak a bit, now I know there are big ones there, I only live 5 minutes from Struble, guess I'll fish this more now!

Sounds good, there isnt a 'LOT' of bass in the lake like marsh or chambers, but there are some good ones! And will only get better if we keep releasing them to fight another day!
Thanks for joining up and posting ;D

congrates and thanks for the report. let us know how you do there on average. if you look hard enough you might discover that they placed "cribs" in the lake in recent years which should help the bass fishing. i would hope that it would at least attract the bass. well you know where one was at, so thats a bonus. ps hows the water clarity?

Water was pretty murky, bad storm the night before, water temp was 75 degs. I saw the new map just today, I will have to check the cribs out, I actually have a fish finder rigged on my kayak, but Struble is really flat as a pancake, not much structure, I actually caught this bass in a totally unexpected area. I have to get over to Chamber yet, try my luck there Cheers Gerry
