Went out in the morning and evening on Memorial Day, caught 20 nice blue gills/sunnies. A lot bait bandits. Nice crowd on the lake I expected worse for such a nice day. Couple nice keeper size bass and a 15'' brook trout, no trout stamp. Kinda wish I had gotten one. O well on to the next trip.

First I've heard of trout in Chambers. I have gotten a few out of Marsh Creek though. What were the water temps? I am thinking of heading there on Friday.

Yeah i was surprised by that trout. Having no method of recording temps, I quess maybe in the high to mis 60's? I wade in to get the boat out and it was nice. not to cold but refreshing, for what is worth. Caught the trout in about 15' w/ slip bobber and a worm.

Fished Chambers for a couple hours last night, Water temps were between 68 and 70. Went for crappie and picked up 1 trolling a shaprap. Then switched to minnow and bobber. Caught 8 or 9 bass on the bobber and minnow. Go figure, crappie on a crankbait and bass on a bobber.
