Stopped by Struble this morning and saw a LOT of snow geese on the back side of the lake to the right of dam. Thought at first they were the local seagulls but with my binoculars confirmed they were snows. First time I've seen them on here in a couple of years. Have seen them in the past on the farmers field across the road from the lake. I have heard he will allow hunters on his property, with permission. Snow season is open till March 15th, with a daily limit of 15, and no possession limits. There was talk of extending this season into April this year also.

Were they on the water? I was thinking of heading out there this weekend to hunt Canadas but I wasn;t sure if I would be able to get my boat in the water. I assume it is iced up. I need to go knock on some doors around there.

I have been wanting to give them a try for quite some time. If it is real iced over I will proabably hit Marsh Creek on Saturday. I saw a few small flocks cruise over marsh a little while back as well.

Drove by later today and the flock was circling over head above the lake. Think they were looking to set down again but there were 3 guys ice fishing out where they were sitting on the lake earlier. Yeh the lake is frozen completely over
