Just got back from a muskie trip on the Allegheny river in Warren PA. Fished with Red Childress, owner of Allegheny Guide Service. He specializes in muskie, but will also book trips for trout, walleye and smallmouth. We didn't get any muskie, my son missed a two foot northern and that was the only bite we had in two days of fishing, but that is muskie fishing. Just the time spent in the boat, the beautiful scenery and all the information freely given by Red about muskie fishing was well worth the money I spent to get there and for the trip. The only downside is that it is a five hour trip and with the price of gas it was a little pricey, but I booked another trip in June of next year. Gonna catch one of those elusive son of a guns if I have to break the bank to do it. I have alot of new tricks to try on Marsh Creek though.

I go up every year for oil heritage in Oil City and we fish the Allegeheny all weekend. Weve seen a ton of muskie up there, and some huge ones, that whole area of the river is a great fishery, never seen so many 4-5 pound smallies and 6-7 pound walleye as up there and it has some beautiful scenery. good luck next time

Marsh creek is your best shot in the southeast region. Delaware river by lambertville on the jersey side is good. Lake Nockemixon has monsters in it, but i recomend marsh creek. My friends and I fished are whole lives for these fish without sniff, until we tried marsh creek. Between us we have four caught in the last three years, two this year. We released all of them ,the largest was 42" and the smallest was 34". Good luck you'll get with patience.
