Nice. What did you catch them on?

Frozen corn, for some reason it works better than canned.
Most people on this board don't like carp for reasons already posted, and I agree, but they are fun to catch.
I lost a lot of carp, bad hookset or just to early. They were consistantly biting, a hit every 5-10 minutes. It pays to walk away from the harder hit areas of the shore and find one that isn't hit hard or not at all.

There are a lot of big carp below the Conowingo Dam, give it a shot when they aren't running a lot of water. I haven't tried it but have seen guys catch them using dough bait.

Green Lane is infested with them, I havn't left the place without catching a few.
Whereabouts is Conowingo Dam? I've heard of it but never been there, where's it around so I can mapquest and get directions to it and give it a try sometime.
I believe someone said me Struble was loaded with carp also, they saw a bunch of carp and catfish in a cove there. What do you use takem?

usually a bow ha ha. I have been using corn. struble is loaded with them but they seem picky. To get to coniwyngo you take route 1 south over the maryland border and then after you go over the dam (can't miss it) you take a left and then another left. I forget the road names. The current is crazy there though. You need tons of weight to stay on the bottom. 4 oz or more. Then you usually snag. Have seen some nice ones there though.

Is there a set or attachment that you put on your bow for bowfishing? Or is it a totally different bow in itself?

Went from 6 till sunset, caught 2 carp, 1 catfish, and 1 largemouth. Good way to end the weekend, especially catching my biggest carp. Too bad I didn't have a big enough net, or else I would of had a better picture of it. It was over 30 inches easily and weighed 10+ I'd say. Couldn't land him so I took the hook out in the water. Those are some nice fish. I'm relatively new to this neck of the woods and I've only been to Green Lane once (not for fishing). Would definitely like to give it a shot next spring. Appears you were bank fishing - just wondering, where do you usually access the water for bank fishing (the spot where you can rent the boats)? That was the only area I saw when I was there, but wasn't sure how accessible the "shoreline" was to the left or right in either direction.

Yes I fish the bank where you can rent boats. I like Green Lane because I feel there is less fishing pressure there but the only bad thing is that I don't think you can use your own boat. I know the res. is loaded with carp and they have carp tournies. It's also loaded with Crappie, one of my favorite fish to eat. (Also there is such a wide variety of fish, basically everything and anything is in there)
As far as acessibility, you can walk either left or right of the dock or jetty. If you walk right it takes you towards the dam I believe and left take you to a cove and you can walk around it. There is some spots in that cove you can walk down that are very nice but just be careful because you may have to walk down a steep hill or embankment.

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely give it a try once the weather warms up next spring.
