Son and I got there around 4PM and was surprised there wasn't a vehicle in the lot because I wanted to quickly change my trailer bunks before fishing. Got that done and we were on the lake by 5PM. We each caught a nice size LGmouth (2+Lbs), but were keeping an eye on the weather since T -Storms were possible. Water was in the mid 80's and pretty clear. A other anglers showed up about the time the thunder started in the distance and we didn't want to get caught all the way at the far end and started heading in. Had we waited any longer I'm pretty sure I would've lost my boat if not worse. To make a long story short, it was really bad. We waited out the storm in the Jeep with the boat on the trailer. The Porta John was nearly destroyed in the storm. There was only one hinge left holding the door on and it was not like that before the storm. The day ended how it started. Us in the parking lot all alone. Everybody else got out of there while we were packing up. Hope they all made it home safe. I wouldn't have wanted to been driving during that storm. Whew

I had my boat loaded and was about to go to struble till I checked the radar and saw that massive storm coming.

Yea it gets really really bad out there in that general area, and the storms so far this year seem particularly violent. Kind of funny you mention the port-a-potty. I thought that was subject to more struble vandalism, but now I know better!
