This is the only map of the lake I have ever been able to find. I have never seen any topo map anywhere. I normally launch from the Dry Brooks area and fish the island points in the main lake until the pleasure boats get too heavy and then i go into the no wake areas. Usually get SM on crayfish crankbaits. www.berksweb.com/marsh/marshmap.jpg

the lake is loaded with stumps, drop offs, ledges, fallen trees, no weeds though... where to go all depends on the time of day and season. jigs work really well as does plastic. most abundant food source are the alewives and crayfish. you will have to start looking for deeper structure as the summer progresses... 10-15+ foot ledges and outside the points and the fish cribs. Start by working the deeper side of the dam end, then the opposite side of the island, and as the boat traffic invreases work up lake as Arizona mentioned... although I have had some fantastic summer days on the main lake WITH all the skiers and pleasure boaters buzzing around me. Sounds like you had an EXCEPTIONAL DAY, you might not hit that many fish for quite a while again, the lake has some big fish but not large numbers of them. Andy

There's a tackle store just past 183 on 222 heading towards Allentown, it might be called Daves. I got a topo map of Blue Marsh there a few years ago.
