No ice on Struble. As for Hopewell and Scotts Run I haven't been up there or heard anything yet.

Yea it is. I'm on vacation in 2 weeks, take a week in february just for ice fishing. Looks like i'm going to have to try and find out about some northern lakes and do a little traveling.

Stopped by Scotts Run today and the good news is the lake is completely frozen . However there was no one on the ice or any signs of anyone trying to get on. Hopewell was partly frozen, the main lake was still open. Struble has ice out to about 20 to 30 yards from shore. most of the way around the lake. Maybe these cold nights the next couple of days will thicken up the ice !

One guy was fishing at Scotts Run by the dam. Shorelines still a little rough. Hopewell is still pretty wide open. Struble was completely locked up except for a little open water towards the dam. Shoreline is pretty rough there too. It maybe fishable this weekend.

hope we don't get a lot of snow. that will really screw up what little ice we have. Marsh creek was just about completely glazed over today.

I know that the Hawgcatcher is within his right to take the amount of fish that he does, but does anyone else see this as a problem? Who needs to keep 50 fish almost every time out? The Fish Commission needs to revamp there limits on panfish before people like this guy destroys our lakes of its precious stocks.
