Took a quick drive by Scotts today, there was about 5 guys fishing. All were down from the dam, about the middle of the lake. Didn't see any action from any body, but was only there a short time.
Just a note, please read the post under Scott /Hopewell on changed seasons.

the wind opened up the lake. :-[Ice is thin. average of 2 inches. It was closer to 3 by the dam but it was bad ice. Not safe enough for me. all the trout were jumping and finning in the open water. One guy caught one.

saw 5 guys on the lake. Still a big open spot. Too windy for me. It must of been blowing 20 mph steady.

Did a drive by on Scotts today and ice looked BAD. Open water has increased and the rest of the ice was black. Not looking good at all. Nobody was fishing. Best to avoid this lake for a couple of days to see if the wind calms down, to allow it to refeeze.
