Sort of short notice, but I am taking my little guys (4 and 6) up to Blue Marsh tomorrow afternoon for a boat ride and a little fishing. Any particular areas I should try to get them in some action? Looking for sunnies, crappie, and what ever else might hit. I plan on getting some live bait to help increase our odds. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh, putting in at State Hill ramp.
Thanks
Considering Conowingo as well!

I have only fished Blue Marsh a few times and only for bass but I would go to the no wake zone and fish one of the creek arms for sunnies. That's all I got for you, sorry I can't help you out more. Good luck.

Midnitebasser,
Thanks for your help. It has been years since I have been to BM and I too primarily fish for bass, but if we can find some sunnies it should hopefully keep the boy's interested. That is what it is all about at that age!
And if the fish aren't biting then blowing down the lake at 70mph should get thier blood going! LOL
