Went down to the flats last night, fished for about 7 hours and got 8 fish so it was relatively slow. the water was up to 57 degrees though. Got my first fish over 50lbs. This one was 55. But we didnt get a fish under 30lbs all night. Im sure somebody thinks its not 55 but use this for comparison im 6'6'' and 280lbs

Bigcountry,
From your picture it looks you were out on the flats (up by the Susky by chance?). What were you hitting them on? I am heading down on Friday and I will be happy if I have a "relatively slow" day like you did! That is a hog!!!

The background in the picture looks like the eastern shore line just up from Turkey Point. (also based on your "evening" trip and the position of the sun)
I do 95% artificial, however I have no issues using bait. I will try to give them what they want!
Any particular pattern tide wise? Or were the fish spread out? Channel or shallow?
Looking to head down on Sunday with my 8 y.o. boy to get him some action as well!
