Hi all, anyone have any info regarding the accessibility or if anythings biting at the peach bottom warm water discharge. I do have a boat. We used to do good there a long time ago when we were permitted inside the plant. Thanks

Can't help ya on the fish biting in the discharge area but I drove down to the power plant this afternoon and there was not one trailer in the parking lot. That should say something. Actually the water was not rough at all and it seemed like a pleasant day to be on the river. That is if you could get past the air temp in the high 20's. The bite is on up at the Brunner island discharge area. 60 degree water coming out of that plant. Tubes and jerk baits are in order. Minnow's if ya got um. From a boat or from the bank.

Thanks Tracker, This is probably a dumb question. Where's Brunner island and how do I get there?

If you have "Google Earth" (it's free) loaded into your computer you can pull it up and eyeball it. Just follow 30 west till ya see Columbia (Susq. river). Brunner island is on the York co. side, north. It's just below the York Haven dam. Best I can put it is it's south of Three Mile Island and north of the town of Columbia. Ya could use a jet boat if you attack it from the river, but from the shore a good set of waders can be a plus but not required.

Yep,,,,,,,, Falmouth Access ramp. (PFBC) Check out the Pa Fish and Boat Comm. website. It will give you directions. It's north of Columbia , just off of rt 441. There are a few more launches but that would be the one I would use.

Thanks Tracker, google earth is the coolest thing ever! Just for the record, I was talking to a guy that knows a guy that has been doing really well at Peach bottom. I know its second hand info but its better than no info.
