yeah it sucks. Why did they post off that walking trail? Someone took down the chain at the paper mill and people park there all the time. I know the first time I do it I'll get towed. Someone got a little posted sign crazy and put some up the road on the trail that the park rangers drive down to get to the dam. Just because the own the first 10 yards. I think the park took them down though. Maybe its because everytime I'm there I see kids spray painting the old railroad bridge and going inside the paper mill. I had one kid mad at me cause I shot a carp back there. He couldn't understand. I had to laugh cause as he was asking me why I would shoot a fish he was spray painting profanity on the bridge.

ALL THE MORE REASON (AMOUNG OTHERS) WHY I NO LONGER PURCHASE A TROUT STAMP. As one member mentioned, I as well, grew up at Lyndell and fished the East Branch since 1948. In this case there were some "GOOD OLD DAYS" and I enjoyed hundreds of hours on the "Brandy". The East Branch produced some fine Smallmouth Bass then as well as some fair size Fallfish that would readily take a fly. An occasional trout was not uncommon even then because they migrated downstream from Indian Run when that stream was in the stocking program some years back.
