Hit a local stream after work fished from 3:00 to 4:30 caught 8 walleyes . All on crankbaits. Kept one 18" er for dinner. The rest were 14" to 15" and were released. Off tomorrow was going to hit Marsh and load up on perch but think i'll see what else the creek holds.

Hawgcather,
Where were you fishing? I have never caught a walleye and I am dieing to get into some. I was out on the brandywine last weekend wadding around but had no success. It's getting a bit cold for the boat but i can still get bundled up and hit the creek. Any info would be much appreciated.

Please, do not spot burn!!! This post has been read 69 times already and I doubt the area you are describing can support it if even 10 percent of those who read it go there. Send an email in private if you like, or at least be vague.
Not trying to be a pita, but any remaining walleyes would be wiped out pretty quickly if it is a small local stream...which it sounds like it is. I don't want to know, but probably can already guess where it is...but I won't mention it ;D

vanmc French creek may be a nice place to try and you can stop at Hopewell and fish that nice size walk out pier for pickerel too.
