Am I the only one fishing the Upper Chesapeake Bay (flats area and lower Susquehanna River bay entrance). If there are any others please post reports---especially Rock fish activity. Will

Hey 650scoot, I fish the upper bay. I fish for largemouth bass most of the time but I do fish below the dam in the spring when the shad are running. We have been doing OK on the bass for the last couple of months and have caught a couple small striper's while fishing for bass.

OK--Midnightbasser--I concentrate on the area between the Rt95 bridge and the old bridge piers out in front of Port Deposit during October and November for Rock fish. Have caught some real good ones over the years in this area when they come up looking for the Herring and Shad fingerlings from the spring spawn. Not doing too well this year for some reason but, I suspect due to the increased water releases from the dam due to a lot of rain up-state. When there is an excessive water flow they head for the dam and concentrate there rather than downstream. Going to give it another try on the 13th. Will
