I've was going through my tackle and found some "weird" looking Buzzbaits, Spinnerbaits, and Jigs. I heard from somewhere that for some reason Bass love these rabbit haired lures? Same thing with Musky. I was going to experiment with them out at Marsh this Spring/Summer but has anyone ever heard of them or used them? Pictures: www.furryfishbaits.com/" Furry Fish Real Rabbit Hair Bass Fishing Lures are a complete line of Jigs, Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, Panfish Lures, and Soft Plastic Baits all made with real rabbit hair. Rabbit hair is just an awesome material that breathes and pulsates with the slightest twitch from an anglers rod causing fish to attack with a vengeance! "

I have never used anything from furryfishbait.com. However I have some friends that tie me rabbit hare 1/8oz and 1/4oz. jigs for cold water smallmouth and Largemouth fishing. Rabbit hare is always moving/ pulsing in the water. Here is a good article www.bassresource.com/fishing/hair_jigs.html

The link above was just to show a picture of what they look like.
That article was good, it seems like the rabbit hair jigs are effective for catching sluggish smallmouth in the winter.
