theres not many people on here yet who trout fish i guess....theres not really any places you can fish right now (regular season ended the end of february) except in the delayed harvest area. im not sure if you know where they are in chester county. theres an area on the brandywine between dorlans mill and dowlin forge rd which is artificials only. its a nice stretch of the stream, fish can be tough to catch, but there are some descent fish. then on pickering creek which is from germantown rd to rt 29, same thing artificials only, a lot smaller creek, but it doesnt get the pressure that the brandywine would. there is a delayed harvest area on the french creek, around phoenixville area. it is fly fishing only though and i have no experience fishing it. and one last one thats close is west valley creek. which south of business rt 30, pretty tough to see from roads, it crosses boot rd at valley creek rd. the delayed harvest is from above boot rd down into valley creek rd (past the tunnel). the last time i was there it was LOADED with fish but they wouldnt take a thing. if you need more directions just post back and ill go into more detail of how to find them, best way is just go for a drive and check out some of the waterways around, theres a lot of good places to fish, just have to find them!

Pa fish commission will stock the East branch of the Brandywine Creek today, including the delayed harvest section. Also scheduled is White Clay Creek for today. Good Luck !

do you have any idea what time they are gonna stock. Do you also know if they are going to stock down below the delayed harvest closer to route 30?

Exact time is never given, The state I believe normally stocks the whole creek and should be stocking down to where RT.282 crosses the Brandywine.
