Can someone help me with picking some good lures or plastic for crappie when they go shallow on conestoga rd.Do more people fish with live bait or is it artificials??Fished this lake years ago but back then the crappies never came to the bridge like they do now. Thanks

I would stick with very tiny jigs for the early season crappies at Marsh Creek. I make my own maribou jigs in 1/80 th oz. for my own use. Stick with light colors and small is the ticket. The smallest mister twisters or tube jigs you can find will also work. But gotta be small. For some reason over the years it seems like the baits that work for me at Marsh for crappies have gotten smaller.
