I was just wondering how the stocking went, and if anyone is catching any trout.

I stopped by last week right after they had stocked, and fish were jumping all over the lake. Don't know how many they stocked but a lot of fish were very visible in the shallows. Nobody I saw was catching any thing that day including my self. There was a large hatch coming off the lake while I was there and fish including the bluegills were gorging on them. Went by today late morning and only a half dozen fishermen were there. heard a coupe of guys saying fishing was tough, again seeing a lot of fish, and a lot of fish jumping, but fishing was slow.

I always go to Scotts Run every year 3 or 4 times but this year I want to take the boat there. I have been fishing 55 times this year but have not fish Scotts yet this year. I will have to give it a try. I know the fishing may not be good but what the heck at least it will be a day on the water

let me know how you do. I'll be up at south birdsboro shooting sunday and wouldn't mind stopping by for some trout fishing.

Sorry for the late response but after I saw this had a new post on it i took a look. I never made it up to the lake, I went to conowingo dam maryland instead on my day off. I am going to try to get there before the end of the month
