Launched my kayak aroud 7:30am. Handfull of boats on the water. Water was like glass. Ended up catching 1 decent sized LMBass, 1 crappie and numerous sunnies on a 7wt. flyrod. I'm new to kayak fishing and managing excess line of a fly setup is challenging. I also saw some other nice bass caught throughout the morning.

Did you use those little "poppers"? I find those work best for bass fishing along with panfish on the fly rod.

I was on Hopewell. The bass and crappie were caught on a clouser minnow and the sunnies were caught on a gartside bug.
