Son and I hit Hopewell about 9:30AM. Luckily it was somewhat overcast and a mild breeze. I think water temp was @87 if I remember correctly.
Wasn't many people on the lake even after the boat rentals opened. Last time you could barely move on the lake on a Sunday afternoon.
Even though we didin't get a fish till noon, we ended up with 4 decent largemouth between us by the time we quit @2pm. That's about how many we usually catch there, but all were over 1lb this time and no dinks.
All where caught on different baits. Senko, Fat Ika, Yum Dinger and a FLW grape finesse worm. 2 in down trees and 2 in weedbeds.
