Me and my buddy hit the lake last week. Started out at the end targeting the logs and stumps sticking out of the water with no results. Spent 2 hours trying different things, still no luck. Decided to try fishing deeper water out from the park ranger dock and BINGO, using tubes on a carolina rig dragging over the humps paid off. In the last hour on the lake we boated and released 8 bass ranging from from 1 to 3 1/2 lbs. All the fish were hanging in the 12 to 15 foot range and were aggressive. Lost quite a few in that short time. What started out as a flop wound up to being a great day. Headed out tommorrow hoping for good results. Being retired is a blast, hope every one has a chance to do it at least once in thier life. Tight lines to all.
