Got to the lake around 6:15 after a ride of an hour that normally takes 30 minutes. Fog was intense this morning. Lake was covered in fog and figuring out a position on the lake was tricky, but I am sure glad I stuck it out. Started up by the "flat" with a gold and black Pop-R and made a killing. First fish hit at 7, and by 9:30 I had 18 in the boat. Biggest was 14", most around 12". Nothing huge, but sure allot of fun on top water. Hauled the boat out at 11:30 with a total of 27 bass in the boat. Great day to be out. ;D Watched as the fish commission divers put about ten cribs in the lake on the far side. Should provide some good structure for bass.

Cribs sound good. I hope to get down there again this fall. Hopefully I can locate them without getting snagged on them.
Hope to invest in some new electronics over the winter. My dash depth finder was top of the line 15 yrs ago and still works good, but it just doesn't cut it anymore.

I'll try to get GPS locations on the cribs and post on this site. We plan tp bulid and sink more in the near future. Remember to practice catch and release on the bass and put all trash in provided containers. Tight lines to all.
