Brandywine Bassmasters last Sunday assisted a local scout in building porcupine cribs to be installed in Chambers. This project was undertaken to attain the Eagle rank. 10 cribs were built and as soon as the fish commision sets the date for installation they will be put in the lake. This hopefully will be the first of more to come. I will keep you updated as to when any future events take place. There are alot of improvements that will be undertaken to upgrade the fishing. A good stock of young fish are in the lake and if we all practice good sportsmanship it will only get better.

Yep, I found them and decided to help you out. I placed 6 of them in a location that will never be disclosed. Thanks for building them. Let me know if you want me to drop more.

I certainly hope you are joking about placing those cribs, if you did you broke the law as they are final assembled on the fish commision launch boat before putting in place. These cribs were bulit and located in an off limits area of the park which involves you tresspassing if you in fact moved them. I hope this is a joke for your sake, as I have ways to find out who you are.

I am sure that MCHAMMER was kidding. I think the park rangers would have picked up on someone doing that. Just curious though OMR as to what ways you have of finding out if in fact this guy did do it? Cameras? Spies? Crystal ball? Bold tatements like that tend to make people to consider it a challenge and thus may cause the undesired behavior. I suggest that if it did take place and if you do in fact some mysterious way of finding out, that you deal with it outside this forum. Again though, I doubt anyonbe did anything.

I called Vickers at the park office and he checked the cribs and they were all there. This was a joke, but in very poor taste. I for one do not appreciate it at all. The fish commision will let us know when there release boat will be available to place the cribs, and I will post the date on the site. Felling of trees along the shoreline to create cover was also discussed with the park and they like the idea, but would have to be approved by the park commision. Brandywine Bassmasters is commited to making this lake a productive fishery for everyone to enjoy and will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. All we ask is that you obey the rules, practice good sportsmanship, and enjoy yourself. As far as the other subject, lets just call it website DNA and leave it at that. Oh by the way, it does work.
