Spent 3 hrs fishing from shore on the 18th and caught 5 bass and 2 crappie. The bass averaged 1 1/2 lbs with the largest weighing 3lbs 7oz. Biggest crappie just over 1/2 lb. All the bass were on a white 3 bladed spinner bait and the crappie on a yellow mister twister. All in all alot of fun. Remember guys help keep this lake clean, please pickup any trash even if it's not yours. Your fellow sportsman will appreciate your effort.

Chambers lake is a tribute to the fish and boat commission. originally stocked in 1995 so the lake has just passed its peak by fish comm. standards. the balance of the lake ecosystem is really good, some large bass and (a few)catfish, good numbers of lm bass. the sm bass are in there but not easy to catch. good panfishing and still a good amount of pickeral. muskys were a rumour until recently. I've had my fair share of bite-offs. there are lots of "birders" use the lake. swans. egrets, heron and others are usually there. problem is you can fish the whole lake in a half day and people have been keeping the bass. fresh hook marks in bass jaws are the norm. I fished it by boat about 25 times a year and I always see that old fella in the white canoe keeping the fish. now the fella has moved on to Marsh and I caught him the other day putting bass in his cooler. yes during May. I flagged down the fish co. boat warden and told him. The old fella was back in the same spot yesterday at Marsh. sorry for the rant. I just believe if you want a fish fry go after panfish. last year I did notice that Chambers had really gone downhill, so I spend most of my time at Marsh. That being said I did catch a monster smallie 22" n fat (released) on a small spinnerbait in April of last year. the water was a little murky and it was just before dark. I will be back to Chambers soon. last time there about 10 days ago after work i caught about 8 bass one was keeper size. there were 5 mexicans fishing without visible licenses they had tied hand lines to the cleats on the new dock. I removed them. That dock is really nice, thanks to all who contributed to making it happen.. we are very fortunate to have 3 good lakes in this area, including but to a lesser degree Struble

Brandywine Bassmasters are looking to adopt this lake and when that happens we will be installing up to 100 porcupine cribs for fish habitat as we did at struble. Anyone keeping bass at this time should be reported, these to me are scum fisherman that serve no purpose to the sport. I have in the past turned in a couple of guys doing the same thing at Marsh creek, one who was taken away in cuffs for giving the officer a hard time. If you see someone breaking the law here, get a license number if possible and report it to the park office. Don't get into any confrontation with them, just report it. We as sportsman serve a great purpose when we step up to the plate to help protect and preserve these resources which are sorry to say slowly fading away. A tip of the hat to you sir for your efforts. By the way our club is checking into installing a floating dock at Marsh Creek on the Lyndell side at the side launch area.
