went to struble this past Wed did horrible not much of anything couple of small crappie found a school of real small perch and 1 real small bass all on jigs i haven't been there in a while looks like most of the weed cover is gone other then patches here and there any sugestions what to do or what to use or should i just give up goin there

There usually is no weed cover, once in a while youll see some slime patches on the surface, but nothing like the thick weeds of marsh creek. Struble is usually pretty slow this time of year, I dont fish there much after summer starts and the hot weather sets in, unless im going after catfish. I guess it depends what your trying to catch to answer 'should i just give up' There are better places to go if your after bass or panfish of any size and quanity
