Son and I hit Struble about 10:30AM. We only boated 3 bass, but my son got his personal best at 5Lb 7Oz. I landed 2 and both were between 2 1/2 to 3 Lbs. All on texas rigged worms in around 6' of 70 degree water. What really stunk was that we both lost a really nice bass each because of faulty knots at the hook. I can't remember the last time that happened, but for each of us to tie a bad knot on the same trip is rare. My son had about a 4lber right up to the boat and the knot came open and I had one pull off at the hookset. His bad knot was on Vanish, but mine was on simple mono. I hope no one has any questions cause I won't be back till Weds evening and hopefully with some more fish stories

Nice going, Struble seems to be turning into a good bass lake again, just wish there was enough water at the ramp for me to get my bass boat off the trailer.

just wish there was enough water at the ramp for me to get my bass boat off the trailer. Wow, we had a heck of a time getting in. I had a small jon boat the other times and we carried it on the roof. Now I have a Tracker TX-17 and I figured it was just my inexperience that made it so hard to launch. I finally backed in at an angle pointing the back away from the dock and we got her off, but still with considerable effort.
