Does anyone know if they are going to resume stocking pheasants at Marsh this year? I had a ranger tell me they didn't last year due to loss of habitat. Apparently one of the guys mowing cut all the fields when he wasn't supposed to. Sounded a little fishy seeing as people have been trying to do away with the stocking there for years now. Just wondering if the mountain bikers and home owners finally won taking away more state land for hunting.

Pheasant are stocked, not wild and Marsh is 10 minutes away making it ideal to hunt before/after work.

As of today the pheasant stocking schedule hasn't been released for this year yet. I just checked the website and last year information came up. Pheasant season normally starts 3rd Saturday in October and junior only is 2nd Saturday in October. I hunt also and live close by and take advantage of it
