Gordons just posted on Facebook saying the lake is frozen. 3-4" in the coves and guys were out fishing today. Sure would like to know if that's true. Would be great!

Walked to carpenters cove today. The whole cove is iced over to the mouth, but only 1 inch of clear ice. Looks to be thicker a little further down in the center, but mostly because of the white ice on top. With luck and lack of wind it should be good by next weekend.

Checked off Chalfont Rd Sat. People were fishing the main Creek arm. From Little Conestoga I could see guys out as far as the Narrows. Edges were thin (around 2") off Chalfont Rd and there was around 3" where I checked. That said i didn't go far from shore as it gets deep there in a hurry. Someone made test holes farther out than I was willing to go.

Thanks for the report. Sure wish I could check carpenters again before the snow Friday night. Would love to get on there at least once this year
