Fishing was heavy right at the boat ramp. Pretty much the norm. Many trout caught & people leaving with a stringer full.
The fishing pressure is less now. Good time/weather to give fishing a try on Scotts Run. I would go an hour or two before sun down. A #10 dry fly hook, with meal worm & a kernel of corn for bottom fishing, has worked in the past.
But more fun is had with a spinning reel rigged with a water bubble & a fly. Best when fish are feeding on the surface. Aim for the ring they make.
