Just a perfect day to fish and maybe my last for the season...my bones are getting too old for the cold weather. Was out in the water from noon-ish until 2:30, water was clear and cold, very light wind. Mainly targeting perch and caught these four groups:
perch (over a half dozen, 2 over 12 in.); blue gill (one, but bigger than my palm - very nice); bass (6) biggest - 2 just over a pound; smallest - 2 like 4 ins. (i have baits bigger than that!!! but nice to see healthy fingerlings - for next season muskie (1) about 24-26 in. thought it was the state record for a perch until i got at good look at it - tiger and quite the pleasant surprise.
so, i'm calling that a grand slam and a pure one - all fish caught on the same lure (yep, the 4" bass and the 24+ inch muskie).
nice way to close out the season...i think i'll be back next year..

That is a grand slam. Nice day! I had a Muskie about that size take a 4” worm a few years ago at MC. What a surprise.

Nice job.... Some days the bigger fish just can't pass up a tasty morsel.

Is the water low? Can one launch a boat easily?
