Was at Chamber today, in kayak, from 11am to 2:30pm. Was a very sunny day, no clouds, a little breezy at times. Water was 66 degrees by my thermometer. Caught 3 fish. (2 bass, 1 rock bass). Largest bass was 14”. Fish were not aggressive. Shade was the key for me.
Not very crowded, but a few boats and kayaks out. Boat control was a challenge unless away from breeze. Leaves starting get color.
Was an enjoyable trip.

I never fish this in fall maybe I’ll try this year. Are the pickerel more active?
