Had a nice few hours on the lake this weekend. First cast landed this fat 3lber who was lurking on a grass line in about 3-4’ of water. Had another 1.5-2lb get off within inches of me. All bites came around 2pm. Water is gin clear and prob around the 45 degrees range. If the temps don't drop below freezing, these fish should stay in the shallows near or in the grass. I have to say, fishing might be a bit slow this time of year but damn that lake is relaxing when there’s not a million people on it.

Nice one! Thanks for the report. I'm going to try to get out this weekend. It's definitely much more relaxing during the "off season".

Nice job..... I dropped a few "hints" to my boat owning buddy about hitting Blue Marsh here lately but he didn't take the bait.... or I'm not on his buddy list anymore .. LOL
