I lasted about 30 mins fishing MC before I almost vomited from the site and stench. I approached the lake from the path on the dam side. As I got close I thought the lake had white caps but unfortunately they were dead perch, hundreds of thousands of them. Is this from lack of oxygen or maybe the excessive paddle boarders did it lol. Does anyone know if they maybe sprayed the vegetation? It was sad to see but prompted me to finally go check out Chambers lake a few miles away. A rewarding decision to say the least with 3 bass inside of an hour of fishing, all 2-3 lbs.

I heard they did recently spray the lake, but who knows. I stay far away from this lake at all times.

I haven't seen any dead perch in the areas where I was fishing this past month...but also haven't caught any although I do target them. Haven't seen the usual crappie kill but have only caught a few. Chalked up the few catches to really stained water.
