Hit the Stilling Basin for a little bit after the Doc's got done poking me. Got 2 Flatties only snapped pictures of #1(est. 24") #2 was closer to 30" both released..

3" white power bait twister grub.... was hoping for the elusive walleye ... LOL ..... rainy afternoon. Think I had one of them on again this morning but whatever it was buried me in the weeds. Shortly after that they started releasing more water - up 1' and still rising when I packed it in.

Bulldogging along the bottom, a few drag screaming runs(6 lb. test) sadly no tail walking across the surface

Yes .... I don't know anyone(cat fishermen personally) "targeting" them, but I know the bass guys have hooked into a few over the years. A few years back one of the guys thought he had a new S/R but just missed it. Supposedly he gave it to Cabala's for their tank .... I was up much later in the year and didn't see it so IDK if they had it and it died, they released it or if that part was a "story"
