Despite the forecast for winds I decided to head out to BM in the morning. I got out to the lake around 6:15 AM and found the water to be nice and calm. Right away I went to my favorite old reliable spot and caught one LM within 15 minutes. It wasn't anything great but was a solid keeper. I spent the next 2 hours hitting numerous spots and failed. I wasn't expecting much with the strong storms that went through on Friday night and those expectations were verified. Not another single hit the rest of the morning. Right around 8:30 AM the winds came rolling in and the parts of the lake I was fishing became very tough in trying to control the boat. I tried for another hour or so and then called it quits. With being a finesse only bass fisherman I found it quite trying to fish my little slow moving baits. Oh well; I made it out on the water; that's really all that matters : )
