Had some time to kill just now. 2 small crappie lots of small bass and bluegill. Heard good news about bass catfish and carp in the small lake. I'm guessing it's a really good spring crappie lake lots of rocks and fallen trees.

Lots of nice bass and catfish though.

I was surprised not to any tiny bluegills or batfish near shore but I'm guessing they were in the grass near the dam. I have a couple fishing buddies in Pottstown so I might make a few trips up just to see in the spring. Oh I saw no skating signs does that mean no ice fishing as well?

Lots of bluegill also along the spillway and along the rocks by the parking lot. This is the time of the year I have my best luck for catfish there. Summer is tough. The whole lake turns green with algee. Never saw anyone on the fish. Some people fish below the spillway over the winter.

I saw on YouTube guys fishing below the damn in the winter but all they caught were small bluegill and rock bass. Anything bigger down there? Doesn't look that deep or big to hold many eating size fish. I might have to test it ice fishing I'm guessing it definitely freezes before marsh creek and struble.

Can you launch a kayak in there or is it bank fishing only?

Idk if you can I didn't see any signs saying you can't. Lots of down trees on the wood side which could make kayaking fun

Can you launch a kayak in there or is it bank fishing only? Yes. My nephew takes his kayak out once in a while. Does pretty good on the other side. He had something grab a bluegill and pull his kayak around for a while before he lost it. My guess is a catfish.

I had my kayak in there a couple years ago and a cop stopped by and told me that I needed a specific sticker to launch there. I have the PFBC Launch stickers so this would be in addition to them. Never pursued it but I think it's available at the township building. I did catch a couple decent bass before the cop showed up though haha.

Had some time to kill again. I caught 3 small bluegill and one 11in smallmouth yes smallmouth fun fight and a surprise catch this early in the year. Fish finder marked what I'm guessing was tons of very small bluegill. Couldn't get them to hit 1/64oz shad dart or trout magnet worked slow under a bobber. Very windy up there today. Talked to a local up there reports of 6&7lb bass in there
