Dropped by Struble this morning, several boats out fishing. Docks have been taken out in the last day or so. Water is at full pool level.

Is it the county or the Fish Comm pulling the docks. Same thing last year, they pull the docks when possibly the best fishing of the year is at hand. I seriously doubt we have had any ice to damage docks before Dec 15th, so I see no reason to pull the docks so soon. Wouldn't be that big of an issue if there was some beach area to pull your boat up on. The launch and area around it at Struble has to be one of the poorest I've ever used. Personally I think it's a disgrace to the Fish Comm.

Just a thought no knowledge or facts to back this up. Since struble gets stocked with pheasant for hunting do you think pulling the docks is a way to avoid hunter/fisherman accidents? It gets lots of hunting pressure and most of the good bird cover is near the water. Just a thought

The county maintains the upkeep of the lake.
