It's been a slow start to the project, however, there have been some advancements. Six porcupine cribs were placed in the water, they are located in 15 FOW along the north shore west of the Ranger boat dock. Also one tree has been felled, it's in the same area. Finally three catfish spawning boxes have been placed in the lake.
Money has been added to the budget proposal for 2016, we will have to wait and see if it stays or if its cut. If all goes well then I will pick a couple weekends in April and/or May to get people together to help build. If you are interested in helping out I have been putting together an e-mail list. Just Email me and I will add you to the list. If you are interested in donating items we can always use cinder blocks, large rocks and pavers. These are helpful to add weight to sink the cribs. Contact me and we can make arrangements to drop them off in a designated area.
Thank You, and tight lines
