I was out fishing yesterday and caught this baby musky on a rapala while targeting smallmouth. At first I thought it may have been a natural fish but after looking online at previous stockings I think it may be a fish from 2 years before. But that would be kinda small for a 2 year fish. Just got a picture of another that was caught in the same area same day.

That cool!! We had one in our trout hatchery in kerr park a few years ago. It was half the size of the that one but had more vertical barrings. Not dotted like that one.

In the trout hatchery? That was probably a shocker, good thing it was small when you found it. The spots on this one kind of make it look like a spotted musky which I found someplace online is apparently native to the Schuylkill river? Maybe somebody else will have a better idea. MasterBaiter, sorry but this one is going in my pocket for the time being.

When there are major floods and the hatchery is under water, sometimes we get other species in the pond above the hatchery. Baby musky, sunnies, small and largemouth bass, chubs, etc... No cool finds this year though.
